EIS Analysis. Community Wind Farm
Identified gross underestimation of soil disturbance and erosion control issues in EIS for wind farm in NW NSW on precipitous, highly unstable soils. Report to Independent Planning Commission awarded by Soil Science Australia

Cleared grassland or cleared forest?
Southern tablelands comparison of morphology, water relations and chemistry of equivalent forest and cleared soils demonstrated cleared forest rather than cleared grassland. Matter settled on an unrelated technicality

Soil information to inform botanists and ecologists
There are 35 threatened ecological communities around Greater Sydney. They are mapped- and often based on the influence of soil conditions, but how accurate is the mapping? I specialise in on-site identification. My soil based advice has helped settle numerous disputes.

Clients include Local Land Services, National Parks and Wildlife Service, Foresters, Horticulturalists and Local Government.
Issues include assessment of illegal vehicle use on erosion, technical advice on track closures, managing nutrients, managing drainage, erosion control and matching plants to soil and land conditions.
